LAP (Latin AmericaPower) es propiedad de GMR Energía, Pátria Investimentos y el fondo de inversión “BTG Pactual Infrastructure Fund II”, de BTG Pactual. Su objetivo estratégico es la creación de un portafolio de unidades generadoras de energía eléctrica por medio de fuentes limpias en países de América Latina, actualmente con presencia en Chile y Perú. En Chile operan el Parque Eólico Totoral (46 MW), ubicado en la Región de Coquimbo y las centrales hidroeléctricas de pasada Carilafquén (19,8 MW) y Malalcahuello (9,2 MW), ubicados en la Región de La Araucanía. Asimismo, LAP inició la construcción del Parque Eólico San Juan en el primer semestre de 2015, en la Región de Atacama, que contará con una capacidad instalada de 184,8 MW, y que espera su entrada en operación comercial para el primer semestre 2017.
THE COMPANY:
Lap (Latin America Power) is owned by GMR Energia, Pátria Investimentos and the “BTG Pactual Infrastructure Fund II” investment funds, of BTG Pactual. Its strategic purpose is the creation of a portfolio of electricity generation units through clean sources in Latin American countries, currently present in Chile and Peru. In Chile, it operates the Totoral wind farm (46 MW), located in the Coquimbo Region, and the Carilafquen (19.8 MW) and Malalcahuello (9.2 MW) hydroelectric power stations, located in the Araucania Region. Likewise, LAP started the construction of the San Juan Wind Farm the first semester of 2015, in the Atacama Region, which will have an installed capacity of 184.8 MW, and its business operation is expected to begin in the first half of 2017.
