AGENCIA CHILENA DE EFICIENCIA ENERGÉTICA (ACHEE)
La Agencia Chilena de Eficiencia Energética es una fundación de derecho privado, sin fines de lucro, cuya misión es promover, fortalecer y consolidar el uso eficiente de la energía, contribuyendo al desarrollo competitivo y sustentable del país. La Agencia implementa programas y proyectos específicos que impulsen la disminución del consumo energético. Para esto, focalizan su trabajo hacia los principales sectores de consumo, como son: industria y minería, transporte, residencial y comercial. Por otra parte, la educación y difusión juegan un rol destacado, ya que permiten hacer de la Eficiencia Energética un valor cultural y lograr así cambios de conducta en la ciudadanía.
CHILEAN ENERGY EFFICIENCY AGENCY (ACHEE)
The Chilean Energy Efficiency Agency is a non-profit, private law foundation, which mission is to promote, strengthen and consolidate the efficient use of energy, thus contributing to the country’s competitive and sustainable development. The Agency implements specific programs and projects that promote the decrease of energy consumption. To do so, the Agency focuses its work on the main consumption sectors, like: industry and mining, transport, residential and commercial. On the other hand, education and diffusion play an important role since they make Energy Efficiency into a cultural value and thus achieving a cultural change in the people.
