LA COMPAÑÍA:
GNL Chile S.A. es de propiedad de Enap, Endesa y Metrogas, en partes iguales. GNL Chile importa gas natural licuado (GNL) de distintas fuentes del mundo, desde las cuales se transporta en buques metaneros hasta el Terminal de GNL en Quintero. En este lugar se almacena en estanques criogénicos y posteriormente, se regasifica para ser entregado a sus clientes. La empresa inició sus operaciones comerciales en 2009 y a partir de 2011 comenzó a comercializar GNL en forma líquida, el que se carga en camiones en el mismo Terminal de GNL de Quintero.
THE COMPANY:
GNL Chile S.A. is equally owned by Enap, Endesa and Metrogas. GNL Chile imports liquefied natural gas (LNG) from different sources around the world, from where it is transported in methane carriers to the Quintero LNG Terminal. There it is stored in cryogenic tanks before it is regasified for its delivery to GNL Chile’s customers. The company started its business operations in 2009, and since 2011 it started the marketing of LNG in liquid state, which is loaded into trucks at the Quintero LNG Terminal.
