DESCRIPTION:IEA Executive Director to announce new special projects and key priorities at press webinar\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe International Energy Agency’s Executive Director\, Dr Fatih Birol\, will host a press webinar on Monday\, 11 January 2021\, to announce new projects and key priorities for the coming year in line with its focus on accelerating clean energy transitions. \n  \nDr Birol will provide an update on the IEA’s latest assessment of global trends\, and outline the Agency’s plans to support international efforts to reach energy and climate goals in the lead-up to COP26. This will include new special projects and initiatives\, which Dr Birol will announce during the press conference. \n  \nThe 30-minute press webinar will take place at 14:30 Paris time on Monday 11 January\, and include time for questions. \n  \nReporters can sign up below for the webinar.
